The Palisades Nuclear Power Plant stopped commercial operation in 2022, after more than 50 years of operation. With the growing demand for clean, reliable energy, the challenge was to bring this facility back online while ensuring compliance with stringent nuclear regulatory requirements. The project aims to not only restore the plant's operational capacity but also to enhance its safety, reliability, and efficiency through modernization efforts. 

µÂÖÝÆË¿ËÔÚÏß is playing a pivotal role in the recommissioning of the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant, which is expected to come online by the end of 2025 and generate more than 800 MW of electricity, enough to power approximately 800,000 households. Our scope of work includes comprehensive site assessments, Steam Turbine and Generator equipment replacement and refurbishment, and recommissioning field service support. 

The recommissioning of the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant is not just about restoring energy production; it is also about revitalizing the local community. The project is expected to create around 600 high-paying jobs, bringing back approximately 200 former employees and providing a significant boost to the local economy.

µÂÖÝÆË¿ËÔÚÏß's commitment to nuclear quality standards ensures that the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant will operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, providing a stable energy supply while minimizing environmental impact.

By collaborating with Holtec International, µÂÖÝÆË¿ËÔÚÏß is contributing to the energy demand growth goals of the energy industry.  The project has secured $1.2 billion in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and $150 million from the state of Michigan, underscoring the importance of this initiative in the broader context of energy transition.
